Composed of 10 villages, each with its own atmosphere, Ile de Ré is a territory with many faces, all fascinating to discover. Labelled “Country of Art and History”, the island is rich in a varied historical and architectural heritage: from Vauban fortifications to fish locks, including lighthouses and an important religious heritage.
